Late Afterall
Added 2019-11-06 19:59:02 +0000 UTCI wanted to finish this in time for Halloween, but it seems like my schedule has worked against me yet again this year. I gave myself plenty of runway to work on this, and I planned it to be a small painting at first, but it took on a life of its own. Leading up to 10/31 I had to visit my father who just turned 70, I had to officiate a wedding for a dear friend, and started a new freelance contract.
None the less, I'm happy with how this painting turned out! I got the colorful guts that inspired me from watching Kimagura Cook (if you haven't seen this Youtube channel, check it out! Fun info on fish and how to clean them) and I got some fun blood splatters in there.
I'm attaching all the previous PSD version I worked on to get to this point, so I hope you have fun digging through them!
Wisdom of the day; Highlights are fun to do, and like a good rug, really brings things together.
